The BeltLine Bears: Day 16

August 11, 2011

Today went by. I must have been in a daze. A heat-induced trance carried me though about 6 afternoon hours. I was bitten by fire ants. I got mad. I was sad. I sweated. I cried. I painted and painted some more. I took off my shirt. I put on another one. I poured water over my hands and arms. I wore a large hat. My dog was sick in my truck. Life moves on.

I got a lot done today with small brushes. I moved quickly as the day wore on. I am very close to being done. The ants are still walking up and down the wall in their vertical expressways. I spent some time today working on the wooden signs I will install soon.

I might be one or two days from being finished. The colors are all coming together. Someone said they would all bleed into one. August is half-way done.
