The BeltLine Bears: Day 17

I installed the signs today. I borrowed a tall ladder. Carmack, my friend, handed me tools and helped to keep me from falling off of the tall ladder. I put one sign (left) high enough in the oak tree that it can be seen from the street. I put the others at the end of the wall. I figure folks need to know were the bears are located. I also put a sign in a tree by the interstate exit ramp. (bottom right)

The 2 beltline signs are made out of re-used wooden steps. My girlfriend’s parents had new floors installed recently and donated the old steps to me. The steps had not left the house since 1986 but now they are hanging on a tree and sitting next to Langhorn Street.

You never know where you will go in life when people walk all over you.
