Yesterday was the East Atlanta Strut 2011. What a great day! It started out really cool and jackets were needed. Then it got really warm and burned my neck. I should have worn my big straw hat!
I met a lot of great people. It was nice that folks knew my work before they knew me. “Hey I have seen that.” “Hey I know that bear art.” “Hey look at that guy’s red beard.” I stayed on my feet all day and talked with everyone I could. I passed out a lot of free bear stickers and shook a lot of hands. I should have kissed a baby while I was at it.
Fans of your work pick you. You do not pick them. When things connect they just work. You create and then they react. That is the nice thing about putting art out for the public.

On another note, I received a full frontal hug from a happy man in a tutu. That was a first.
Thanks to Maria and all my friends and family for their encourgament and support.
