GA 400 Bears

October 4, 2011

This last weekend I traveled up GA 400. I took some bears and crosses and installed them along the highway. I hope the people driving by that can understand will notice them. I hope the people that do no understand will not see. I also put out some cardboard bears.

I did the same down in Fayette county on Highway 85; bears in the woods. These guys are on some private land so they can reside in peace. One problem though; I had to completely change my clothes due to chiggers and Poison Ivy. Those woods are wild and crazy. I hope the bears don’t mind.

I have been making some wooden bear heads for a few folks; one for Joe’s Coffee, one as payment for a dinner and one for someone I met at the East Atlanta Strut. I am also working on a big green snake. I think I will sell him at my next show. (Good home needed for a nice snake)

I have felt a little sick with a cold the last couple days. I fell behind on my workload and need to catch up. I have had a lot of hot tea and curry vegetable soup. I hope this helps.

It is less that two weeks until the Candler Park Fall Fest. I ordered some new bear t-shirts to sell that weekend (October 15-16).

One more thing; my girlfriend noticed that I was down and in a bad worried mood Sunday. She gave me 4 small pumpkins to paint on. She told me later that my mood completely turned around after I painted. Odd isn’t it?
