Painting Outside

February 7, 2013

Over the last week I have been painting on the Midway Pub in East Atlanta Village. This time of year it can be screwy to paint outdoors. Yesterday it was so warm and sunny I have a sunburned face. The weekend before my only hope to stay unfrozen was a glorious mug of hot cider. Rainy one day and then windy the next. I enjoy being outdoors so it is always exciting for me.

I have met a few new characters in East Atlanta. Several guys have helped me paint some base coats. They made me laugh. I had a few friends stop by a couple days and watch me avoid the power wires above. You know they say a little friendly heckling is good for the soul. Painting on a pub also brings out the talk in people so that has kept it entertaining as well.

Take a look at these photos and when I am finished I will post some of the whole project.
