Charity Art Auction

Today I donated a painting to be auctioned off for charity.  The proceeds will benefit The Children’s School Financial Aid program. The Children’s School is a private school located in midtown Atlanta. I had someone approach me with this idea. It sounded like a good way to help out a worthy cause and get my name out there at the same time.

The auction will be March 26 at Piedmont Park. You can also bid online starting this Wednesday, March 16th .Please check out the auction website for more details. The event has several big name sponsors including Delta Airlines, Georgia Power and SunTrust Bank and will be held at the Greystone at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. I wish them luck.

On a side note, the painting I donated is the only still-life I can remember painting. I named it Orange Apple Pear. It is acrylic on wood panel and measures 11″ x 18″.
