Sublime Doughnuts Mural

July 19, 2013

I finished the painting of Sublime Doughnuts in Atlanta. They have completely redone the interior of the store. I painted the walls and created a bookshelf doughnut tree. I also made them a one-of-a-kind sun clock. Kamal Grant, owner of Sublime, had asked me to help him reflect his mission. His goal is to make people happy and have a “fun hip experience” while eating the best doughnuts you can buy.

Together we created a much more fun and happy location to buy the best doughnuts in town. Grant’s shop was recently named the Best Bakery in America in Bake Magazine. I was really honored they asked me to paint for them. If you ever go near Tenth Street and Georgia Tech campus stop and check out Sublime. There is a good chance you won’t be the only one there.

Thanks to Kamal and the gang for taking good care of me during all my hours in the shop.

Note: I did not paint the word “Sublime” on the wall. It existed previously.
