FireLight 2016 (coming soon to a weekend near you)

FireLight 2016 is coming up, and I am making a lot of art for it again this year. The Georgia Conservancy has been super good to me and I am helping them out with this year’s fundraiser.

I made a smiling camp fire sticker and a firelight dancing guy for the poster (his legs are crispy wooden sticks!) . I am currently painting 40 small works on wood panel— all similar but all unique. These will be for the Golden Ticket holders.

The poster is super nice and is part of the VIP ticket package. It will also be for sale at the event. It was hand-printed by the great Brett Mioti.

I will be at the event to read my poem FireLight I wrote for the Georgia Conservancy. I am looking forward to that! Maybe we can all howl at the moon again this year.

The bands are going to really good and the proceeds go to a good cause for our great state. … Secret: The Bobby’s Shorts band is made up of some of these guys.
