I Am Waking Up

I am slowly waking up. I feel better than I did yesterday. I have been making some thank you cards for the people we stayed with on our trip. I hope to put some art on a tree this weekend. Have a rebirth of sorts.

I also wrote these words down…

I see the  rocks in the distance

Butte on the hazy horizon

I take the grass in my hand

Sunlight in my eye

I do not know what tomorrow will be

Shard of an ancient dance

I bow my head and pray

Ask the Lord for clarity

I walk through the dark

The amber eyes light up the night

The moonlight has assistance

I wake up to fresh wind and fruit trees

A yellow cat walks around my feet
