The BeltLine Bears: Day 12

August 6, 2011

A dozen days of painting in the sun.

I started doing some detail work today. I went back over portions and added more layers. I cleaned up sections. I am on the second half of the project. I feel good about the shape and feel of the wall as one painting. Thinking about how it will end.

Today I met a couple guys that stopped by. One worked for the construction company and another guy was a well-educated gentleman who was walking by. Both were very complimentary and curious as to the BeltLine Bears. We had some nice conversation about art and politics.  Thanks to Ron and Aaron.

I worked for 7 hours today. I did not eat the whole time. I felt like it allowed me toconcentrate more on what I was doing. The heat was  relentless but I felt as though it fueled me. I became light-headed and decided to sit in the shade and hydrate. I drank most of a gallon jug of water and listened to good music. It was a good day to be outdoors. I felt very productive.
