Story - This is a painting I did a couple years ago. It was based on the U.S. Civil War. It is not supposed to be any particular person or soldier. The word "Shame" just came to me while I was painting it. Maybe because the whole thing and all the loss was a shame. All the dead horses and broken homes and torn up farms and lives. I really love Amercian history from that time period. I feel like I was suppsed to live during that era. I live now, so I just made this painting. What a blessed shame.

Painting - The original painting is acrylic on wood panel. It measures 24" wide by 48" tall. It is wired at the top and ready for hanging. Ships with tracking info and insurance. Given the size, personal delivery might be an option.
