Bear Claw
Acrylic on canvas - size 24 x 36 in.

Story - I worked in Alaska in 1999. I spent about 6 months there. Most of the time I was working in a fly-in lodge 30 miles east of Denali National Park. No roads. No cars. Late in the summer I encountered a young grizzly bear face to face. It looked at me and I looked back. Nothing much happened but I will never forget it. Later, while walking in the woods, I saw bear footprints in the mud. They were double the length of my hand. Those events shaped this painting.

Painting - The original painting is acrylic on canvas. It measures 24" wide by 36" tall. It is wired on the back and ready for hanging. Ships with tracking number and insurance.
