The BeltLine Bears: Day 13

August 8, 2011

Unlucky 13.

This was day number 13. I saw no black cats. I stepped on no cracks. I got spooked about 6 in the evening but I escaped unscathed. I spent a long time painting. It was the most humid day I can recall. My clothes hung on me as if I had stepped into a pool of warm water.

I wrote on the wall with gray paint. I cleaned up and made more bears. I used a small brush exclusively for most of the day. There really is nothing like watching the paint flow from brush to wall.

My friend Simmons stopped by. It was good to see him. When he tried to leave we had to do some creative thinking to get his truck unstuck from the mud. With a little reverse gear and some mumbling he finally escaped.

I ate 2 peaches and drank an entire gallon of water. Peaches are juicy.

I have been watching a trail of fire ants walking up the wall for 2 weeks. They get really confused when I paint over their ant highway.

Have you ever put sunscreen on a dog?
