Giant Bear Cross

I have been putting my bear cross memorials on the interstates around Atlanta. One bear is way out I-20 East past Conyers. I put one on 285 on the west side near Atlanta Road. I also put on I-20 near Boulevard and Moreland. There is a cross on 285 south near Moreland and Jonesboro Roads. Cars drive really fast when you are standing by the road.

Yesterday I decided to make a large version of the bear cross. You can see it in the above photo leaning against the truck. When I am done painting it I am going to climb up a ladder and attach it to big old oak tree at the intersection of Bouldercrest and Fayetteville Roads in East Atlanta. I hope it will stay there for a long time and make people smile when they drive by.

I have a few more to put out on the roads. I have been taking my hammer with me everywhere I drive so if I see a nice spot I will be ready. Look for updates as to where you can spot a bear cross.
