Ginger Pride Parade (march down main street)

March 19, 2016

I had a fun time today being the Grand Marshal of the 6th annual Ginger Pride Parade in Rome, GA. Thanks to James Schroeder for asking me to be a part of this fun event. His goal is to bring awareness to and help combat bullying while celebrating being a bit silly and different— good times with friends. Oh yes, and there were many many folks with red hair and beards. We celebrated that too. Then we ate lunch.

3 notes from today:
1.Being in a parade procession is as much fun as watching, and you get more exercise.
2. A parade needs a marching band. The marching band I walked behind played
Seven Nation Army 7 times.
3. After marching in a parade, carrying a BEAR Baton and growing a beard you need a     tasty lunch.
